Our History
Luxury Gifting by Planned Gifts Since May 2020
Planned Gifts was founded by Nomahlubi Hewu in May 2020, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Hlubi, more affectionally known is a Property Valuer (UCT) by profession and a true entrepreneur at heart. She is also the co-founder of ASANA Beauty, a dreadlocks and natural hair salon.
"One of my goals as an entrepreneur is to build thriving businesses that will be a solution to the rising youth unemployment in South Africa. I aim to equip young people with the necessary skills and experience to start and run their own businesses one day."
Planned Gifts is a luxury gift store based in Maitland, Cape Town. We specialise in flowers, balloons and gift boxes. We currently provide a full delivery service in Cape Town. We strongly believe in supporting local businesses and more especially those founded by other women and youth. This is one of the key drivers to a growing and inclusive economy. We only sell locally made items by other small business or startups for our gift boxes.
