Sweet Bubbly

Description

Not every gift needs flowers. Sweet Bubbly is a 750ml bottle of Woolworths MCC Brut Rosé with a box of four Ferrero Rocher tied to the neck with our branded ribbon — one thing to hand over, and nothing that needs a vase.

That makes it the most useful gift we sell for the people flowers do not quite suit. A colleague or a boss. A man who would rather have something to open than something to water. An office, a landlord, a neighbour who took the parcel in. Anyone with hayfever, or a cat with a habit of eating the arrangement.

It also works as the small thank you that still reads as generous. At R500, a bubbly and chocolate gift sits comfortably above a bottle on its own without becoming an occasion in itself — right for a housewarming, a new job, a job well done, or a thank you that has been owed for a while.

The bottle is Cap Classique, South Africa’s traditional-method sparkling wine, in a pale rose gold that photographs better than it has any right to. The Ferrero Rocher come in a window box so they are visible rather than hidden, and the whole thing is finished with our ribbon and sent with your message on the delivery card.
